The U-11 boys team continued to play well the past 4 weeks. since their 2-0 start, the boys had a great win over solon 5-2, and then stumbled against Twinsburg with a 5-2 loss . They rebounded nicely against Chagrin Falls with an 8-0 win that was played in a swamp. This past Sunday the boys took their 4-1 record to play a tough 4-1 Kenston team. A great game to watch as we took a 3-1 halftime lead. Only to see it disappear as the boys trailed 5-3 10 minutes into the second half. They kids never gave up as they tied the score with 5 minutes left, when Andrew punched in the winning goal on a beautiful cross to the middle. Boys won 6-5 and gained soul possesion of first place, with two games to go. They play a 4-1 Aurora team this weekend in Aurora. The U-11 boys are an exciting team to watch. They are very team oriented and fun to watch.

The u-11 boys team has started the season with a 2-0 record. We opened the season with a 6-1 victory over Shaker Heights and followed that up with a 9-0 win over Cleveland Heights. We travel to Solon this Sunday. The offense has set the tone early in both games and defensively the team is shutting opponents down. The team will be participating in the Bothwell Cup in Canton in October. -Brian Kraus
Hello Parents,
Just a quick heads up about an recent change in my coaching situation with Nordonia High School for next year.
This morning I resigned as the Girls Soccer Coach at Nordonia H.S., as I have accepted an offer to be the Head Coach for the Brecksville Girls Soccer Team for next fall.
I am excited about this new coaching opportunity, BUT it was extremely hard for me to accept as I have grown attached to the Nordonia Soccer Community, especially all of you. I will continue to teach in the School District next school year, but I am unsure at this time which building I will be in.
As for the NHSA Girls Travel Program⦠A few things may happen. 1. When a new coach is chosen, he/she MAY GET INVOLVED & keep things running 2. Or WE MAY LOOK TO JOIN with a surrounding communitys travel organization. We will definitely keep you posted as things become more concrete to make sure everyone has a place to PLAY next fall!!!
Thanks for all of your support with the Girls Soccer Program over the last 4 years. I wish all of your daughters the best of luck in their soccer careers & look forward to keeping in touch with all of them. I will be finishing out the spring season with our U12 girls, and I am excited to do this as I truly have enjoyed working with each and every one of your daughters. Let me know if you have any specific soccer questions about your daughter and her next step, Im happy to help!
GO KNIGHTS,
Katie Kruse
The u-10 boys have started off the season with two victories after having their first 2 games rained out. We opened the season with a 3-2 victory over Twinsburg and then followed that up with a 6-1 win against West Geauga. The team has played well and are starting to gel as a team. The kids play at Smith Park this Sunday against Eastlake at 1:00 and will continue to improve each week.
Coach Brian Kraus
The U12 Girls remained unbeaten with Sundays 3-3 tie at home against Willoughby. The Knights are now 2-0-2 under Coach Katie Kruse.
Their next game is Saturday afternoon at Geneva.
This week, the U-11 Boys Travel Team tied a tough Kenston Team 2-2 with two nice goals from Camden. The team is now 0-1-1 in the young season. We have basically played even with two of the best teams in our division. We play Mentor at home this Sunday at 2:15.
The Spring travel soccer season is right around the corner!
Practices will be held 2x per week. Practices will be either Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Thursday. Please let me know which option works better for you. Majority will decide.

The u-10 boys team made great strides this fall season. After starting off slowly with an 0-2 record, the boys came together and finished with a respectable 3-3-2 record. The team comprised of many new faces worked hard all season and became a cohesive unit. In the Brunswick Fall Classic they took third place missing out on the championship game by one goal. we will continue to work on improving their skills and having fun as they look towards the spring season.
