The Nordonia Hills Soccer Association has announced the Spring 2012 Academy soccer season dates.
The season will run from Thursday, April 19th - Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Practices will take place on Thursdays with games on Saturdays.

WE WILL NOT BE PLAYING AT SAGAMORE PARK BECAUSE OF A PAVING PROJECT THIS FALL....
PRACTICES WILL BE THURSDAYS FROM 6-7PM AT NORDONIA MIDDLE SCHOOL.

New NHSA Academy soccer player without uniform: $65.00 Late Fee: A $10.00 late fee will be added to the registration fee starting 8/28/2011 (This Sunday!)

NHSA Academy Soccer players must be born between: 8/1/2001 - 7/31/2007
Online Registration Close Date: 9/11/2011 (Players can register online through 9/10/2011, registration is unavailable starting 9/11/2011)

The NHSA would like to thank you for being apart of our 8th academy soccer season! As you know, we faced several challenges with the weather. Thunderstorms this Spring forced cancellations and made it difficult to maintain the fields. We appreciate your patience and thank you for participating this season.
If you were unable to attend our end-of-season tailgate party and did not receive The NHSA Spring 2011 soccer trophy, please call us at 440-570-2593 to make arrangements for pickup.
The NHSA would like to thank you for participating in The Spring 2011 Soccer Academy.Our 8th season was filled with many challenges. The weather forced us to cancel practices and deal with less-than-ideal field conditions. Although we believe that playing in the "everglade-like" conditions builds charachter, we prefer freshly lined fields that get mowed.
Thanks to those of you who attended and helped put together our end-of-season tailgate party this past weekend.

The NHSA End-of-Season Tailgate Party is coming up this Saturday, May 28th at Sagamore Park at NOON. The event will immediately follow the final games of the season in The Pavilion.
Trophies will be passed out at that time.
The party will work much like last seasons tailgate....

NHSA Academy uniforms are ready and can be picked up at Diamond Blue Sports 138 E. Aurora Rd. (Rt. 82 in the same plaza as Gambitta’s next to Romeo’s Pizza). The hours are M-F 11-7 and Sat 10-5, 330-468-0015, www.Diamondbluesports.com . When you go in to pick it up, they have your childs last name and 1st initial and also know what size you ordered. You already paid for the uniform when you registered, so all you have to do is pick it up before Opening Night this Thursday, April 14th. If you have questions, call us at 440-570-2593.
The annual COACHES MEETING is coming up this THURSDAY, APRIL 7TH 6-8PM AT NORDONIA HILLS LIBRARY.
We will have special guest intructor Tom Turner prepare our coaches for the upcoming spring soccer session. Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to the game and will answer all of your questions about coaching youth soccer. He'll also put on a mini-clinic to demonstrate drills for the kids. NHSA coaches are encouraged to bring their kids to help with the process.

Today is the last day to register for The NHSA Spring Academy 2011 without a LATE FEE. Register today on the front of the site and avoid the $10 late charge.
Returning players with uniform are $45 and new players are $65.
The ten dollar additional fee will be added to those who register beginning tomorrow.
The season begins Thursday, April 14th.
The earlier you sign up, the easier it is for us to prepare for the season.

We will be fielding six travel soccer teams for The Spring 2011 season.
All slots are filled for the U-10 & U-11 Boys teams.
On the girls side, we have four travel teams including U-10, we have two U-12 girls teams and one U-14 team.

Games will take place Saturday for U-6 and U-8 from 11-noon
Games for U-10 will take place Saturday at 9:30 at Smith Park in Northfield.

All Premier, Travel, Middle School, NHSA Academy and Mac Rec Soccer Players & Coaches are invited!
*Players will be permitted into the game for FREE w/their GAME JERSEY on. (Coaches as well with a team shirt on)
*Players will be announced at halftime & will be set up to play in a small sided game on the turf field.
